This piece is what started it all for my upcoming show "Scenes From the Second Story". I started painting it September of 2006 and I just finished her up for the show. This scene shows a Brillo Box aircraft carrier docking for deployment. The Delta Team consisting of armored dinos, lightning-fast rabbit, tentacled octopus and pincher sharp scorpion emerge into full paisley explosion. Drumming panda and those that have already earned their "stripes" oversee the procession.
"Scenes From the Second Story" will be on exhibit from June 28th - July 29, 2008.
Opening reception is Saturday, June 28th from 5-8pm. This will be a catered event with wine and refreshments.
